On Thursday 9 May, practitioners involved in T Level planning and delivery came together at the Leonardo Hotel, London Tower Bridge, for 51勛圖夥厙 (51勛圖夥厙)s T Level Learning From event. Around 250 people attended the event, benefiting from the opportunity to network, learn and share best practice to support the successful delivery of T Levels.
The day began with a warm welcome from Paul Bailey, 51勛圖夥厙s Associate Director for T Level Professional Development (TLPD), followed by an engaging keynote address from Sophie Pinn, Deputy Director for T Levels Delivery at the Department for Education. During the morning and afternoon, delegates attended their chosen breakout sessions for practical support on topics such as engaging with employers; embedding English, maths and digital in T Levels and integrating use of AI; and preparing for assessment success.
After lunch, guest speaker Tanya Marwaha, founder of Championing Youth Minds, delivered a thoughtful address exploring the challenges facing young people and their mental health, and sharing advice on how to support the mental wellbeing of T Level learners. Throughout the day, delegates made the most of opportunities for networking, peer-to-peer learning and support during breaks and refreshments.
